John has been planning and buying media for a number of years. Starting with two of the UK’s largest advertising agencies – Ogilvy & Mather and DMB&B (where he was Broadcast Director) – he became Media Director and partner at Park Advertising before joining The Media Shop as Director in 1996. In 2012 along with his fellow Directors he formed TMS12.
He believes in the full service ethic and that media is an advertising and marketing tool and not a commodity. TMS12 role is to develop and identify media solutions that best achieve our clients objectives cost effectively – essentially “making our clients advertising £ work harder”.

Sue started her career at a full service agency before joining TMS in 1993. Her attitude and entrepreneurial spirit was recognised by her becoming the youngest Board Director appointed. She, along, with her fellow Directors formed TMS12 in 2012.
Sue’s philosophy is based on creative thinking to provide TMS12’s clients with the most cost effective and impactful media solutions. She believes in “challenging the norms to achieve our clients’ objectives “ and is constantly questioning and working very closely with key publishers to ensure that our clients stay ahead of the competition.

Richard heads up our digital media services – giving a strong commercial twist based on his early training as media planner/buyer at BDH in Manchester before progressing his career with London agencies. His digital experience started in 2000 when he launched inaugural online media campaigns for a string of blue chip clients in a range of retail and service sectors.
Since then he has built a fully integrated media capability, including social media, affiliate marketing, viral activity, search, acquisition programs and display campaigns. A founding director of TMS12, Richard is vastly experienced in getting the best from the digital/non digital mix.
